He's always willing to help out, he sweeps and mops the kitchen floors, helps put away the dishes, helps with the laundry, some times I can even talk him into cleaning his room. He weeds the garden, plans the seed, helps me with Cayley, tells me when it's time to clean the bathroom (thanks child). He always has a smile on his face. What an amazing and happy child!!

The Fonz!
Motor mouth extraordinaire! I am pretty sure we tell him to be quiet more often than we talk to him and we talk to him ALL DAY LONG. Everything that pops into his mind, comes out his mouth. For serious man!!

Kiwi
My little princess and wild child. She's SUCH a joy, we can not imagine our lives without and her personality.
She's currently in size 18m clothes, and 7 shoes. What a start to the summer. We are working on her speech and I have to say, we use her words more often than she uses ours. She says Ahgoom, and hmms to say thank you, and says pweez which sounds like beef some times. She's a very special little girl.
Summer time!
I finished my Spring Semester with a 3.48 GPA, that's an improvement over Fall, which was 3.15 I'm pretty happy with that. I got an A in Math which is surprising. I got an A in nursing, which isn't. I got a B in Chemistry which is SHOCKING. I thought I was doing horribly. This summer I am taking SPT 130, which I guess is intro to theater. It's through Moodle and online so I won't be spending $40 a week driving to Show Low.
J starts school on Monday. He's REALLY nervous because summer is the busiest time for his job. I'll be holding his hand every step of the way though and we've already arranged 9 hours a week of study time with the in-laws. Luckily he LOVES to write papers, his stress is about answering posts in the 'forum' setting that his 2 classes are taught in. I think by the end of the summer he's going to be a lot more confident in his ability to complete his course work. Which is a perk.
We're getting Stryder prepared for Kindergarten!! We still need to go pick up his birth certificate, I've never seen it so I'm looking forward to it. It's a drive to Holbrook and a $10 fee. Which isn't too horrible. I really wanted to home school him but he's such a high needs child that the public school option works better for us this year. It's hard to be a nursing student and a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom at the same time. He's starting out this summer wearing XS-slims in big boy clothes, Size 12 1/2 shoes and not liking hats. He keeps telling me he wants SuperHeroes of his birthday, then goes through a list, Spiderman, Batman, Superman, Iron Man, Wonderwoman, Green Hornet, Incredible Hulk... I asked him about Wolverine and he said "who's Wolverine" *arghhhh* I've failed as a X-men fan. *sigh*
Kiwi is almost 21 months old. She'll be 2 in September. She's finally sleeping in her own bed, we moved the mattress into the 3rd bedroom/office space though. Stryder has been sleeping 12 hours a night since he was 2 so we're trying to not disturb him too much. She's starting to wean herself as well. Right now she nurses when she wakes up in the morning, and when she gets hurt. Some times at nap time but usually she just lays down and goes to sleep. She's been feeding herself for a long time.
We're going to go eat some macaroni and cheese bbiab

Another new week
Usually Sunday rolls around and I'm feeling kinda, bleh. Jason has to go back to work, I'll be stuck home alone with a dozen kids. Just bah. Well I'm sort of excited today because I have class tomorrow and Tuesday. That's right I started school again. A entirely new major. Nursing!
Fun stuffs I'm loving my pre-req's I hope this joy lasts.
As for the kiddos. Kiwi's hand healed fabulously. It's perfect and smooth and looks beautiful. She also turned 1 on the 2nd. So she's 1 and 10 days old now hehe.
Stryder tested OUT of preschool so he's been home schooling with me. He has his shapes, colors, letters and numbers down. We're still working on reading. He can recognize words but the phonics still escape him. Which is logical. He's 4.
My handsome hubby is working on getting his CCNA lab together. Eventually he's going to take the CCIE. However he's starting with the CCNA, he might test for A+ and MCSE as well. I hope he does. He's smart he needs those pieces of paper though as proof.
I'm working on getting back into couponing and thriftiness. I need to write out a 'staples' book. I had one on my old phone but it got deleted. I need to figure out how to keep prices low on things like soap and flour. I need to stop spending on things that are perks like cheez-its and reeses. LOL
I've been trying to go primal as well. Moving as Grok moved, eating as grok ate, this means no carbs, very few fruits, bare toed, and constantly moving with the occasional sprint.

Burns
Kiwi Squish Bunz burned her hand on Monday July 26th, 2010 at around 11:20 in the afternoon. She has second degree burns on approximately 30% of her hand right now. On Monday we took her to the Summit ER, we followed up again on Tuesday. Wednesday the 28th we drove to Phoenix and took her to the Maricopa Medical Center where the Arizona Burn Center is located. They finished debriding the burn, taught us how to properly change the dressing and then told us to come back on Tuesday. Thursday the 29th she woke up with a fever of 101.7. Our pediatrician gave us antibiotics to treat a possible skin infection related to the burn. We then drove down to Phoenix again, they took a look at it and said it's fine, we just need to scrub it harder. They then re-bandaged her and said we didn't need to give her the antibiotics. Thank the Lord!
We have been home for 2 days now, it's really nice. I'm waiting on Jason to call a co-worker of his to get a blessing for Kiwi. We're hoping to avoid surgery to remove the rest of the dead tissue from her hand. What we're hoping for is no surgery on Tuesday, that she resumes full usage of her hand soon so we don't have to do physical therapy 10 times a day.
She'll be 11 months old on the 2nd.
Her burns were caused by the 'safe' 'low wattage' light bulb inside a scentsy burner Scentsy I had removed the shade to empty the wax from it and turned off the bulb. I placed her on the floor and went to the kitchen. About a minute later I heard her shriek, I ran back into the room and she was on Stryders bed screaming and holding her hand to her face. I ran it under cold water for about 20 minutes until Jason got home, ran her outside to show him. He said take her to the ER, while I was on my way he called and said to stop at the fire station first. They were going to fly us to Phoenix but called ahead to Show Low and they said to come there first. While we were there they cut away the blistering. Applied Silver Sulfazide cream, bandaged it and said to come back the next day. She wasn't in pain until Wednesday when we went to the burn center and they debrided the dead tissue to expose the fresh. Now she's on Tylenol 3.
